Bob,
Thanks for
the three great days of hunting. Nothing is tougher than late season goose hunting yet you still brought them in.
Josh and I have hunted Quail, Pheasant and Chukar together over my Britts and this year we
spent four days hunting whitetail on the farm back in Indiana out of a two man tree stand.
The hunt with you was the most enjoyable hunt Josh and I have had together.
We were eating our sandwiches when Josh said "Dad two birds coming in get ready". I said "I
see them call it". He said now at the perfect time. We spun the covers and stood up to get on the birds. The two
Cinnamons flared left at twenty five yards. I took the one in the lead and he took the one in trail. They hit the water at
the same time.
It was the perfect moment. It will be in my mind like a
video until the day I die.
When I lived in Houston in the early 1980's, I used
to hunt around Kaplan Louisiana. I knew some old Cajuns who could call geese and ducks.
They had nothing on you.
Let me know
when you are going to be in Southern California if you come over here. Josh and I would love to take you to dinner.
Best regards,
Tim & Josh Roberts
Bob Fields is one of the best Waterfowl Hunters
I know. His ability to read birds and his knowledge of their behavior and how and when to call them is to notch. Bob will
put birds in your face for up close shooting in one of the toughest parts of the Flyway there is. Shooting birds consistently
in the Bottom of the Flyway is tough work, and Bob makes it look easy. He is a great host and your hunt with him will be top
notch and most of all memorable. He is a great guy who knows a thing or two about hunting. When you book with him, you’re
in for one of the best hunts you will ever have. I will be back again.
